Bamboo Graffiti
Heather and I took a little photo expedition to the Huntington Botanical Gardens today. It’s a really beautiful place, and we had a great time. The 5D and I had no problem filling up an entire card. Here’s one of my very first shots of the day, a patch of bamboo where many people have carved graffiti.

Stubborn Bastard
I waited and waited for this gull to fly so I might possibly catch him with his wings outstretched, but nothing I tried would make him budge. The group of friends I was with left me behind, and I was sure they had reached the parking lot by this time, so I finally gave in and snapped this shot, my last one of the day.
